Payment/Fees:

We believe that everyone should be able to afford neurocounseling, no matter what their situation is!

At NeuroJess we accept many different payments:

  • Insurance -  we accept Medicaid (T-19, Forward Health & BadgerCare), United Healthcare (Optum), Chorus Community Health Plan (CCHP) and Together with CCHP.
  • Private Pay (out of pocket) if you don't have insurance or if you would rather not use your mental health benefits for any reason.
  • Out of Network - if you don't have mental health benefits or if we don't take your insurance, we will still work with you and your insurance company.

Reasons why you might want to use private pay:

To Maintain Your Complete Privacy: some people just aren't comfortable sharing their brain health concerns with their insurance companies, for many reasons. By using private pay, we won't have to release any information to your insurance companies and your private information will stay confidential. (If there's a court order to release your information, we have to comply with the law, however.)

To Not Put You In a Box: insurance companies need us to provide them with a diagnosis code in order to pay for services rendered.  A lot of people don't want to be "labeled" with a diagnosis, however, when working with insurance companies, there's no way around this.  It's almost impossible to give a fully accurate diagnosis after seeing you for one time, any how.  If you use private pay, we don't need to put you "in a box" by labeling you with a specific diagnosis.

You Control Your Treatment: insurance companies will dictate the amount of sessions that you are allowed and how long your sessions will be. Most of the time, it's hard to work through complex human emotions and create positive habits in such a short period of time.  With private pay, you can determine how long your sessions will be and how often you want to see me.  This helps you reduce the stress and worry of trying to "hurry up" your treatment and gives you more privacy and control of your brain health.

You do not have to do this alone!

Neurodiversity Services

Female ASD Assessment (16+ years old): $487

Female ADHD Assessment (16+ years old): $487

Female ASD & ADHD Assessment (16+ years old): $685

If you're questioning if you have Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or ADHD but don't want to go through individual therapy, having a neurodiversity assessment can bring you the validation and peace of mind that you are looking for.

My goal is to collaborate with you, leading with your lived experience, working together as co-searchers for the truth. I utilize my clinical experience, from a neurodiversity informed lens, identifying signs and symptoms of females who have ASD and/or ADHD, and will help guide you through various screening tools and questionnaires that will help you understand neurodivergence and possible diagnoses.

Single assessments (ASD or ADHD) last approximately 2 hours. Dual assessments (ASD and ADHD) will last approximately 3 hours. All assessments are available to Wisconsin residents, only.

After the assessments, I will be able to tell you whether or not you meet DSM-5-TR criteria for ASD and/or ADHD.

ASD and ADHD are two of the most underdiagnosed challenges in young women. It's our mission to help you understand that you are not alone on your journey.

As a professional woman who has ASD and ADHD, I not only have specialized clinical experience about female neurodivergence, but I also have lived experience. This combination allows me to understand you on a deeper level and provide you with the most accurate clinical interpretation possible.

*Disclaimers:

  • Assessments are provided for validation and peace of mind. Assessments are not considered psychological testing, as I am not a licensed psychologist. If you meet DSM-5-TR criteria for ASD and/or ADHD after the assessment provided, I will provide you a diagnosis. If you would like a formal diagnosis that is recognized by the state of Wisconsin (for any purpose other than your own edification), please contact a licensed psychologist who specializes in ASD or ADHD testing in your area.
  • Assessments  are conducted using DSM-5-TR criteria, including questionnaires and clinician-developed checklists derived from the DSM-5-TR, and clinical experience based on ASD and ADHD presentations specifically in women.
  • I will sign any documents that you request, but cannot guarantee that your work, or state or federal unemployment or disability offices will accept a diagnosis from an LPC. I also cannot guarantee that your primary care physician or medical prescriber will accept your diagnosis/diagnoses for potential medication prescriptions.
